Publish to Screensaver

Publishing to a screensaver takes your scrapbook and saves it as a Windows screensaver file (.scr) that can be installed on your computer, or be given to family and friends. A screensaver is a program which automatically displays a moving picture or pattern on the computer screen after the computer has been idle for a certain period of time. If the keyboard or mouse is touched, the working desktop screen returns.

The published screensaver is similar to the slideshow publishing options where each page of your scrapbook will be shown on a timer. However the screensaver does not contain a user control bar while viewing it.

Tip: Once the screensaver file (.scr) is published, you will need to install it in order for it to be used on your system. To install a screensaver file, simply right-click on the published screensaver file and select Install from the menu. This will install the screensaver on your system and show the Screen Saver tab of the Windows Display Properties dialog. This dialog will allow you to configure your general screensaver settings as well as the Scrapbook MAX screensaver specific settings such as the timer setting, mute and full screen option.

Tip: You can publish to a Windows screensaver file by choosing File > Publish To > Screensaver... from the program menu.
