Next Object Below

Selects the object that is one level "lower" in the z-order—in other words, the object that is one step closer to the page.

Tip: The z-order controls how overlapping objects are displayed on a page. It's called the "z-order" because it deals with how objects are arranged along a page's Z axis—either "forward" (further from the page) or "back" (closer to the page).

Next Object Above

Selects the object that is one level "higher" in the z-order—in other words, the object that is one step further from the page.

Arrange

Arranges the object's z-order on the page.

Bring to Front

Make the selected object the top-most object in the z-order for this page. This means that it will be displayed on top of any other objects that it overlaps.

Bring Forward

Bring the selected object one object closer in the z-order for this page. This means that it will be displayed on top of any other objects that are behind it in the z-order if the objects overlap.

Send Backward

Place the selected object one object further away in the z-order for this page. This means that it will be displayed behind any other objects that are in front of it in the z-order.

Send to Back

Make the selected object the bottom-most object in the z-order for this page. This means that it will be displayed behind any other objects that overlap it.

Group

Groups the selected objects on the page. Grouping objects temporarily combines them so they act like a single object when they are moved or rotated. This allows you to easily work with commonly combined objects such as speech bubbles and text or pictures and frames.

Note: When objects are grouped, you cannot resize them or edit their properties. If any of them need to be edited, you must ungroup the object.

Ungroup

Ungroups the selected group on the page. These objects will no longer behave like a single object when moving them on the page.

Lock

Locks the currently selected objects on the page.  Locking an object renders it completely unselectable. This means you cannot move, resize, rotate or edit its properties.

Note: In order to unlock a single object, you must right-click it and choose Unlock from the right-click menu. This will disable its locked state.

Unlock All

Unlocks all of the objects on the page.

Pin

Pins the currently selected objects on the page. Pinning an object means you cannot move, resize or rotate it, but you can still select it to edit its properties.

Unpin

Unpins the currently selected objects on the page.
