Rochester, Minnesota... a small city in the middle of the United States. Population about 90,000 and growing fast. Best known for the internationally known Mayo Clinic, founded by the Mayo brothers. It is Heritage month this month. It's beauty and safe streets create quite a unique calling card.

Played around with Gimp 2.2 (free program) was determined to make negative letter cutouts and made a few doodles as well and found the color to alpha option in the layers area.

Orange Denim Background paper by Cynthia Brombria- kit Got Denim, Photo is imposed over the paper with transparency.

I might just use this as apostcard some day printed on cardstock.

I don't know exactally what it is. I tried a mask but couldn't save it as a jpg or as a png so I started by adding a layer>alpha channel and I just played around selecting and cutting and had a big rectangle, bucket filled, with black and the letters were done in white, then I selected by color > chose white and cut the white parts out. I put a photo behind the transparent letters in scrapbookmax. Hope I can do it again! Ha! LOL.
