Yesterday was the centenary of the birth of a Scottish musical legend. He was probably the best known of all button box accordian players, and father of Scottish dance bands as we know them today. Not only did he play but he composed many dance tunes, and I am certain he inspired many a young player during his long life (92 years!).
The swirly frame came from Lauren Bavin over at Digitalscrapbookplace. The thistle and Scottish flag are mine, and the background is the Anderson tartan, taken from a swatch. The photos are from the Internet but I don't think I am breaking any laws here!
