There had been a flour mill at Blair Atholl for hundreds of years but it lay idle for 50 years in the 20th century, after flour was standardised and small mills like this could not keep up with production. However, it was renovated in the 1970s and is now fully working again. As well as being a visitor attraction they have a lovely tearoom, using much of the flour and oatmeal they grind. It is also on sale to customers.
Thanks to Alexa B for her Nature kit.
The wee mill wheel was extracted from one of my pictures. Having fun with that!
