      The light in the west of Scotland is different from anywhere else. Don't know if it has something to do with refraction or reflection from the Atlantic Ocean, but it is definitely different - almost like the over-exposure of a photograph!! It's beautiful, however it is caused!


      The mountains in the distance are the jaggy-peaked Cuillins on the Isle of Skye.


      The shell cluster is my own, made from a picture of shells I found on that beach.

      Beautiful - the light is so soft! It must draw artists to try to paint it!
