It took my parents two weeks to decide my name.
At first dad wanted Kathleen after his mum and mum wanted Margaret as the 1st born on her side were always named this, after much squabbling dad decided on MonaLisa - mum refused that one!
Then dad decided on Fionnula as it is one of the historical Irish names as we are direct descendants from the Old Pagan Kings of Tara. Mum thought that would be a bit strange so eventually she agreed so long as it was changed to Fiona which she said was a more acceptable version of the name and dad agreed as he thought Fiona Fullerton was gorgeous!


So i became Fiona Kathleen Maragret (fair white rose)
