The rest of the story...Sharon and Jerry were from rival high schools but became sweethearts and married right out of high school. The 40th anniv picture proves enduring love because it was not posed or planned. When trying to take a recent picture of them for a slideshow video to be played at their anniv party Jerry and Sharon suddenly looked at each other. They were scolded for not looking at the camera for the picture....then later we realized what we had from the picture!!!!


They have 5 grown children with families of their own
and adopted two young twin girls a couple of years ago.


Now a sad portion of the story...Sharon was diagnosed with advanced cancer not long after their 40th Wedding Anniversary. Their enduring faith in God and love for each other is their daily guide and comfort.


PS: I forgot to mention this is one of my older brothers.
Jerry is #2 of the 7. I am #5 of 7 kids.


PSS: Sharon passed away 10/2009 after approx a one year battle with cancer.
