Done this quickly with Scrapbook Max program for those wondering how to do this sort of overlay.


The photo used had the background removed already but if you photo is like a blank wall behind you would probably get something similar.


1. light coloured no pattern paper
2. open photo and add to page at 50% transparent
3. go to effects and go to greyscale while having the photo selected. (don't shadow it)
4. Add your other elements as you wish.

Hope this helps some of you out. If you haven't a program to remove backgrounds - make sure you use a photo with a light background eg white wall so the edges of the photo aren't so prominate. ENJOY
