My brother, Jeff, is an award-winning wood carver. Most of them are life sized. Here are a few of my favorites that he's done. The lighted cabinet is one he sold to a restaurant so it's always on display. Others were bought by collectors. I took closeups of the tiny moth he carved and if you look closely, even the wooden tree is just a carving, not a true branch. The hummingbirds he does are quite collectible. He loves doing fish. He carves and paints them so no one can tell they aren't real. He even gives them a "wet" look! Some of them are "leaping up" out of the water and causing a "splash". People can't believe he just picked up a piece of firewood one day and carved a fish. LOL! He said it just looked like a fish to him.


I used a kit from Pam Lefors designs called Wildwood. One was a free QP that I liked a lot but wanted to add to so got the kit, too! Guess that's why they do QP's! LOL!
