jazzieal Digi Sage Registered: September 2006 Location: Alabama Posts: 1,999	My Grandparents were very devout Christians, my Granddaddy was a deacon in the Baptist Church..he was a little man with a gruff voice and very impatient. The preacher always said he knew exactly when to start closing his sermon because my Granddad started looking at his watch..and squirming around...One Sunday night in place of a sermon, they had a free sing, with members picking the songs...they were having a wonderful time singing the old familiar songs and no one was thinking about the time....except my Granddad..at 8:00 he started looking at his watch and by 8:45 he could take it no longer... he stood up and said "Sing Goodnight Irene and go home"!! The congregation, knowing my Granddad well, errupted in laughter and they sang the song, had a closing prayer and went home!!! For years after that, members who were there that night, were still telling the story...it out lived them both...

Jazz, this is SUPERDUPER AWSOME STUNNING!! I ADORE this LO, the background flowers from the photo.. EVERYTHING.. and oh goodness the story is wonderful.. could actually picture it in my head..LOL.. brilliant

Very pretty layout. I like how you took the flowers in the picture and used them on the papers. I especially like the font you used. This is truly a beautiful layout and memory.

Beautiful, Jazz! Love the story - it's so funny. I had a great-grandfather like that. If he didn't like the sermon he would get up and leave!! These are the stories that are so much fun for families!!

Well croppie..those flowers were easy to do that way...I just cut them out of the big picture and pasted them on...put a border and added drop shadow to the picture and thats it...very easy..
