      Grace with some of her family in 1845. Two sons are missing as they are living in other parts of Britain now. Soon, John would be living in NZ and Margaret in India. Thomas,one of the two absentees here, would be in Australia and the other, James, would be in the west of Scotland. Eliza, who was born after the family moved to Edinburgh, sadly died not so very long after this picture was taken.

      Forgot to add that Robert continued to live and work in Edinburgh. He is my great grandfather. William and Charles also remained in Edinburgh, William, a widower with no family, lived with his unmarried brother, Charles, who wrote the story of the Inglis family.
