Tommy and I dated for two years in high school starting when I was 15 and he was 17. Due to family interference, the relationship was too difficult to hold together, so we went our separate ways. I was married for 37 years to a wonderful man, whom I lost to pancreatic cancer 5 years ago, and thought I would never get over the loss. Tommy lost his wife 3 years ago to bone cancer and had given up on living. Through the miracle of the Internet, we connected again after not seeing or hearing from each other for over 42 years. We were living 1500 miles apart. After finding each other and talking constantly on the phone for 7 days, he flew out and we have been together since. It's been a fantasy come true - with life beginning again at the age 59 and 62!
