The glasses became obsolete for me March 17, 2005 at the Eye Doctor's Clinic. Hubby watched while the big machine and the steady hand of the Doctor BUZZED away. A PAINLESS ten minutes passed and the Doctor said everything would be cloudy but can you see better?? I could read from 15 ft. the decal on my husbands shirt and I was AMAZED and GRATEFUL..Still disbelieving that I could come back to the Doctors the next day driving my car without my glasses on to drive. I'd been nearsighted forever. I had prayed when a little girl of 6 when they came me my first pair of cat framed glasses that someday...Heavenly Father would let me see without glasses. I thought I was ugly in them and no one would want to marry me with glasses. I was wrong.. but now..I have no dependence on the glasses that got scratched, made it difficult to play sports, fogged up with the cold, and slid down my nose with the HOT. Now I can wear makeup. When wearing contacts..the mascara irritated my eyes. So many pluses.
I'm GRATEFUL for the gift of corrected sight.
Monovision allows me to see while reading..another problem that arose...I was going to have to wear BIFOCALS.. HUM..

I used to love to draw black mosiac lines and and color in the areas with different colors..Well, now I see the colors but without assist. I highly recommend Lasik eye surgery!!
