This is my mother in 1944 dressed for her senior banquet. She was working at WT Grants but
my granddaddy bought this dress for her and she was so proud of it..she had met my dad and
was falling in love, fixing to graduate and life looked promising. They married in June, 1945.
I scraplifted part of the LO from the gallery on digitialscrapbookplace.com..I used some of
the papers from a kit "Raspberry Essence" Created by Lauren Bavin..the flowers in the corners
I cut from a paper by Basic Gray..the journal tag is from "Secondhand Elegance" by Beth Nixon..
I made the green dotted paper, the ribbon, bow and word art.. the 1940's era frame is by Stephanie Asher. I have decided to make some more
of the vintage pages and put them on a DVD with music my mothers birthday April 25th..· Date: April 7, 2007 · Views: 789

You have created a work of art - this is so era perfect! I like to offer sincere, complimentary and creative comments on those occasions when I DO comment and yet all I can say here is - exemplary.
