Fisher is John's Canine Companion for Independence. What a difference Fisher made to all of our lives. A working Dog when we took John out to the store and out to play. Educating people to not pet fisher when working or fuss at us for having a "Dog" in the store, etc. was always a challenge but we broke ground for others to have less resistance. The nightmares I could tell you of John running out into streets, taking off and finding him in strangers cars in the parking lot, etc. before Fisher came along..THe harness kept John from being unannounced with his departures. What a loving, fun dog...Now officially a PET..Cost $10,000 of volunteers, vet costs, etc..We paid $1,500 out of pocket during training..Well worth the money.
John couldn't speak..but wanted to say the commands to get Fisher to work. He was alone in his world but had to come out of it to care for his dog. He sleeps next to John but has harder time with arthritis getting up the steps..Great watch dog. But loves all people!! Loves to go out in the car..but can't go into stores. Not allowed to wear his vest anymore...
Everything was done in SBM except Fisher's dog tag embellishments and NanaC's push pin. Made a new shape for the bone tag.Will post in embellishments. Made the layout in SBM by using picture as background, laying black over whole pic..opacity 25%, put white shapes on areas I wanted to cover, then deleted picture and changed opacity for black to 100..then PUBLISHED>IMAGES>MED size..DROPPED IN SHAPES folder, started new page, got picture, layed background, brought same picture in again and using my new shaped template. The letters for Fisher's name is Ennobled Pets Font.
