The minute you arrive at Ruth's door you would know she was a cat lover. The doormat is bright and colourful with its three comic cats looking up at you. Then there's Coco waiting behind the door! And once inside there are cat ornaments everywhere, so I took photos and had fun today "cutting them out" and arranging the pieces!

Ruth and I hadn't seen each other for 18 years, and every Christmas our letters to each other would end with "Well we didn't manage to get together this year, so let's try and do it next year!" This was the year! I had a lovely visit with her and you'd have thought we only saw each other last week or last month! Amazing how you can be like that with some friends!
