A photo from hubby's family archives of the threshing machine that came to the family farm in 1916. This was a big deal back then! The children would rush through their chores and then run to the field to watch. Neighbors would show up to help each other on their appointed threshing days. The women would all be busy making the meal and snacks that the men would eat. This was what our ancestors considered fun and full of social activity back then!! Wish I could have been there!
