My Dad picked out my name as I believe he was mesmerized by Maureen O'Hara's beautiful eyes in her starring role as Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Along with her piercing eyes and striking red hair, she has accomplished many things as an actress and a business woman. I'm proud to be named after someone like her.
To the left is Maureen in The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1940, the year I was born.
To the right is Maureen with John Candy in Only the Lonely from 1991 after being retired since 1973.
