I'm doing good PK..thanks for asking. Emily is getting quite the little personality on her. She squeals when she is excited about something now. She is now grabbing with both hands. she can hold herself up when we place her on her hands and knees for a little while. OMG! I FORGOT TO TELL YOU ALL!~ Emily IS NOT DEAF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I could forget something like that! She will need hearing aids still but her deafness isn't profound like they had originally said. These new specialists said that because she was hung upside down the whole time I was pregnant with her...the fluid drained into her ears (where normally they would have been protected)..when she was born it hardened like cement. These new docs gave me some kind of drops to put in her ears for the last 3 or 4 months..the stuff that came out of her ears was pitch black! then they used a corkscrew like thing to get the "Plugs" out a few weeks ago and she passed her hearing test!!!!! We are told that as she grows the less she will need hearing aids because now it's a learned response, because she couldn't hear for so long, it's like a newborn starting out all over again.

OMG!!Wiz this is the most wonderful news!!! I am jumping and doing the happy dance!!! She can hear your voice and the love in it!!! Now not only does she feel your love but she can hear it toooooo!!!!! This is soooo awesome! Oh yeah! She is going to learn more by leaps and bounds now! This is the best thing I have heard in a very long time. HELLLLOOO EMMY!!!!! She heard that, you know she heard that!!

Wiz, my dear friend, this is the greatest news I have heard in awhile...So precious to know she can hear..I'm sure this is a whole new world for her...I am so excited for all of you...!!!
