SBM not recognizing Photos...

Hi All,

I am still having problems with SBM recognizing my photos. When I'm in SBM, I can only see a few of the photos that I downloaded from my CD. Could they be formatted wrong on the CD? Buy why would SBM recognize (being able to view) some and not others. I tried dragging the photos, but I get an error message saying that the document is invalid.

Can anyone help. I feel so stupid.

I think I figured it out. I have to open them in Paint, then save them to a folder and then when I'm in SBM, I open the folder and they are there. Seems weird to be, but hey it works!

That almost sounds like a file error. In other words, the images on the CD have something in the file that Scrapbook MAX! can't read (but that MS Paint can). By opening the file in paint and saving, MS Paint is 'translating' the file sbmax can't read, and is saving it into a 'proper' format.

Could you send me a file that Scrapbook MAX! can't open? I'd like to try to replicate this here. If I can do that, I can have a developer look into the issue. While I can't promise a resolution, if there's something we can do to make the software better, we will!
