I hope he is ok...i cannot even imagine how that feels..EWWW I have never had a broken bone....OUCH!!!!!!

Eye I am happy to hear that Laurie is feeling better and that he is on the mend. Will take some time yet, but it looks like everything is going in the right direction. Tell him we all say hi and hope he feels better soon!!

Well their is just a spot that is still draining.I have stips on it like a stitch to hold it together.I have been keeping an eye out for infections.No signs of it.The swelling in the incision was so puckered in the begining that I was worried about scar tissue but now the incision is flat and smooth.So I am pleased with this.

OMG Eye... that looks awful painful!!! I am happy to hear things are getting better!!! I just keep on cringeing everytime I look at that! YIKESSSSSS

Well Laurie seen the Doctor who did the surgery.No more cast and told him he could go back to work in a week and a half but has to use crutches.Something wrong with this picture.After having his foot completly broken off and can go back to work so soon with steel toed boots.At least he cannot go back till scope is done on other leg.So I will have to get him back on the list.This will give him a little time to heal more.He still has some drainage from one part but it looks good.I am just so shocked that they do not give time to get better.

He has been walking on it.Though it is like a balloon.Today he has been trying one crutch and he also tried a cane.He still needs time.I do not know why they say he can work in a week and a half.Weirdos but he still needs the scope on the other knee so we still will be granted some time to heal----I hope.
