How do you chat?

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering ... how do each of you chat on the internet? Do you:

- Use websites with 'chat' programs built in
- Use mIRC, or another type of chat program
- Other ways?

Fill me in! Note that i'm wondering about public chats that you'd either watch as a guest, or participate in. I'm not wondering about private chatting, such as instant messaging.

I don't use chat rooms. They have always sort of scared me. I only use AOL or MSN Messenger through Meebo.com

The only site I use to 'chat' is SBM.... am I sad or what...???

I use Yahoo IM and AIM. I would use a chat room within a specific site.........hint hint hint (Maybe SBM?)

I've used mIRc and pirch ....I still occasionally go Talkcity to play trivia (rusty) but mostly now use built in .....msn,yahoo,myspace,etc.......I love to chat
