    handwriting font

I am really wanting to find a good handwriting font! I like the journaling on my page to have a handwritten feel to it but most of the fonts I have found are really hard to read when they are small. Anyone have a font you really love and would tell me the name of it??????

I don't know which sites off hand that I got these from but here are some that I have:

Mistral, French Script MT, Charlee, Felix, Huntson, Maxwell, Script MT Bold, Signiture, Palace Script MT, Edwardian Script, Devon and Campaign-Normal. I have others but some are too fancy and it makes them hard to read.

I love this web site for fonts as well and they have a tutorial on how to download them to your computer. When you pick out you fonts in SBM they end up installed in the "advanced" button. Hope it helps!

You have to install them now. I can tell you how to use them with Windows XP - if you have something else running your computer, speak up and hopefully somebody who uses it can help you.

First, make sure your fonts are unzipped, if needed, and you know where they are. I usually put mine on the desktop until they are installed.

                      For most Windows computers:
                      • 1. Click "Start"
                      • 2. Click "Control Panel"
                      • 3. Open the folder "Fonts" (You may have to switch the Control Panel to Classic View to see the fonts folder)
                      • 4. Click "File" at the top of the Fonts folder and select "Install New Font"
                      • 5. Follow the prompts and tell it where the new font is. Make sure you have the "Copy to folder" box checked if you're going to delete the font from it's temporary location after it is installed.
                      • 6. The next time you open ScrapbookMAX or a word processing program, the font should be there for you to use.

                      I hope this helps.

Great advice Lori! I usually put them on my desktop also then open the font folder then I just drag the font into the folder...works that way too. I also have a font folder in my documents...where they are all stored too, not sure if I can get rid of them once I put them in the main font folder...
