You and Grannywin never deliverately hang something over the edge cause you only want a piece of an embellishment. I do that a lot. Hmmmm....very interesting.
I prefer to oversize a little cause I don't want the white showing too.

Likewise I don't very often 'overhang' my page. If I only want to load part of an embellishment I either use Effect/Crop or copy the embie & then crop in one of my editing programmes...
I have a trick that I use. I put in a scrap piece of white construction paper first at exactly the same size as the outline before I do a layout under the paper scrap that I use as a background and click it and tab thru the elements to activate it and the "selected" blue line appears.
I overhang just about everything else and especially the background paper a wee bit just to make sure I have no white edges. When I want to "view" my white paper scrap I then repeat the tab button until I get there and can easily see the blue line.
I always bring in all the papers as scrap or photos and not backgrounds this way.
With white I don't forget to remove it again as it is featureless. And I can see all the true and bright colors of my layout as I work on it.

That is most helpful. Still not quite the same but probably as close as it is going to get. Thank you very much for the fix.
Glad to know someone else hangs stuff over the edge. I was beginning to feel freakyIn my mind, hanging over is just a versatile way of cropping. If you don't have a fancy "other" program to modify/crop something, this will work sometimes. Speaking of cropping I have another suggestion...new post.
I have no probelem at all. I just use 1600x1600 and save it as that. I get mine doen in 12 x12 and they are perfect and beautiful or I print them off as a smaller one and still have no problems. So I like the highest setting.Whatever you guys are talking about you lost me as I never had a problem.![]()
