Just introducing myself

Hello everyone! While I have been a member for near on one year, I have never ventured on to community forum.. I have been on line for near on 5 hrs. (I am in Australia) and it is well past my bedtime. But I have had such a great time looking, that I think I will stay here all night.. I have been doing scrapbooking for about 7 yrs. Two years ago my children gave me this computer/printer and I have never had so much fun( bearing in mind I knew absolutely nothing about this wonderful technology, and must say I am still trying to understand all about these forums I just hope this ends up where it is suposed to go) I was always wondering just what digital scrapping was about, then one day I happened to come across "Scrapbook Max" and haven't stopped buying kits.. It's rather strange because I never ever wanted a computer, sorry now though, that I have wasted so many years.. I have been involved in all forms of craft (sewing, folk art, painting, teaching card making... just about anything you can think of I have had a try of and just loved it all. As today is my 75th birthday, I thought I should take the plunge and intoduce myself and join the fun . I think I should go now as I can't aford to loose too much BEAUTY SLEEP. LaRose

I live in the west of Syndey , Australia..I have a son & a daughter, & she has 4 children..a girl 21yrs. a son 18yrs, another son 16yrs and another daughter 14yrs.. so I have had plenty of scrappbooking to do.. A very warm welcome and a very Happy Christmas My Mum is 76 and a wizz on a computer. She was given one about 3 years ago and has joined older people's computer groups and ...well she is a computer addict. She also chats on msn ( as some on here will know as she's talked to them!) thanks eng for your welcome. Hoping I may be able to chat with your mum one day, being of the same "vintage" we may have a lot in common.. Is she doing digital scrapbooking?) We had a great day yesterday - 25Th- our weather was very cool (for this time of year, something like 25d. instead of 40 + ) I really would love to have your weather at Christmas - sitting by the fire and having a lovely roast dinner.. just a dream.
