It is a sort of duck but it also reminds me of our beaver's here in Canada (except they do not have a beak). They are called Platypus and are found in Australia . They are about the size of a household cat and live for about 10 to 15 years. They have webbed feet and a flat tail which makes them great in the water. Their fir lays flat and is waterproof. Although they are in the water alot they also walk on land but much like a lizzard would. I remember studying about them when I was a kid and they are quite unique. They have very sharp claws but are harmless I think.....we have such a wonderful group on here and I love learning about where we all live,,,,,,,,,,,,xoxo..........Lois

Hey Loie I did something bad to Nipper. I broke my new post officebox.I did not know Nipper was a toolman on the job.Wow that man has many talents. He just straightened everything back in place like he was superman.I also am starry eyed for Nipper. He was not even cranky as I gave him so much praise.I left him singing and hanging onto his tool.but still no parcel yet.

I love platypuses, cause they are God's perfect answer to all the smarty evolutionist. It has every thing from feathers to fur, where does it fit in the survival of the fittest story? Ops, no, no feathers, but many other peculiar things.

And by the way, they are very dangerous. If frightened and picked up by their back end, they will sting you and probably kill you. It's extremely dangerous and painful.

On another note, I finally picked up the gift I had ordered for my exchanged pall. It's every thing I hoped it would be. I hope my pall will be happy with it. Will be mailing it asap!

Sooooooooo, please, my sweet little pall... Do not despair, it's coming your way, and I'm having a ball keeping you in suspense!!!!
