    Question Album delima

    Hey Gang,

I got a big surprize when I went to purchase an 8 1/2 x 11 Album for my wedding pages. It appears that this size has been discontinued and everyone is selling 8 x 8 and 12 x 12. I have been working hard to do all my pages 8 x 10. Well, it looks like I'm going to have to go back and change all the sizes on over 50 layouts.

I know many are doing 8 x 8 for printing. Are you happy with the size of those layouts? Maybe someone has some suggestions here!

Hi Onie....I do 8x8 and love them...But now, that is just my opinion...I would hate to see you have to redo them all though...THey are still selling those size albums here if you would like me to get you a couple and send them your way...Just a suggestion and it would save you some time...You could consider it a Christmas Gift from me....Let me know, k? UK has thousands of albums to fit that size print, we call them A4 albums (scrapbook albums are still the minority size over here)

what style you looking for (plain pages which you stick the photos on or the peel over and stick down style etc) - what colour etc and i'll see what i can find locally (we have fabulous shops here!)

or just search for A4 photo albums and you'll get tons of uk suppliers most of whom ship to usa

I bet if you did a google search for that size scrapbook, you would find some...would be an alternative to resizing 50 photos...you might could find one just for wedding pictures..

Gosh ladies, thanks for the tips! I have been checking out all of the google sites, and have found a few possibilities. One in particular has a lot to pick from.

I do have a couple questions?

Fiona, the sites from the UK have prices that are from there. How do we know the American dollar amount and how do we purchase?

Eye, you mentioned doing 12 x 12 sizes. Are you printing 12 x 12 pics? I do not have the ability to print that big AND I certainly can not afford the going rate for nearly 100 pages.

Thanks again to all of you for your imput.

if they take paypal then its no problem as paypal will auto convert the payment from dollars to uk pounds at the moment its $2.11 to £1.00 (im buying up american goods like crazy lol)

if they dont take paypal email me i can purchase it and have it sent to my house, and ship onto you and you can pay me via paypal

Oh cool Fiona. I will let ya know. I may need to wait until after Christmas to get the book cause the one I found is $87 plus the cost for refill inserts.

I get mine through here.Maybe 40 at a time. But they do such a great job.I tired one other program to compare and nothing was as great as the one here.I would not print them as they may fade in time and the ink down this way is far to expensive.I got rid ofmy printer due to that..
