Help! Where do downloads go?

I bought some kits and embellishments on here and downloaded them to my desktop. So far so good! I bought a kit, a pack of paper scraps, and some embellishments. After downloading, i clicked each file and they "magically" were loaded into SBM. When I open a "new" scrapbook, the "kit" (template) is available in the design selection. When I go to "Add...Embellishment", I find a folder with the embellishments there that I purchased. But I can't find the paper scraps/backgrounds anywhere. Do they just get mixed in with the other backgrounds, and if so, is there a method to their madness? Also, where is the template/kit file stored? When I load the template, t has paper that I might want to use for another project. How would I access those seperately?

I'm kinda disappointed not to receive a reply from an existing member here, as this seems like a friendly helpful forum; however after much searching on my own, I found that when I downloaded and installed "booster packs" and other purchased content from this site, the elements are saved into a Scrapbook max folder in "My Documents". I hope this helps others who may have been "browsing" from within the program, and not locating things purchased. The quality is great and the designs are nicely done! Thanks!

I have never bought. But it can be a bit confusing eh.Now you know why I make instead of buy.All downloads are their inside scrapbook max. I have never had that problem but I am sure someone will come alone who sells and can tell you more. It is summer and alot are away etc. You will not be ignored.

Sorry to have disappointed you. This is a very friendly forum and Sometimes posts go missing off the New post section for some reason. I honestly did not see this post until now and I am sure if others had seen it they would have been able to help. Just please be patient with us. We all do our best to help as much as we can.

I'm glad you found the answer though and left it for those who may have the same problem. I've answered one of mine before and I know a few others have to. You were not being ignored. I can assure of that.

Any templates you download(From sbm) will automatically install into your scrapbook max template area. Embellishments packs sometimes if they are designated to a specific folder such as (example) speaking of Rosie papers etc. If it doesn't show in the embellishment are of sbm the little heart it will have more than likely installed into a booster pack folder or embellishment packer folder in the same area. I know my stuff I try to remember to give it it's own folder name. Sometimes we over look them. Please don't let that discourage you. Max is an awesome program. Hope this helps!

Hi Carmatti, sorry you didnt get a response quickly, we do try our best around here to help, but alot of peeps have been really busy, with summer and the kids being home and all! I dont know if this will help ya, but I keep everything on my desk top, even stuff from SBM, when I want to do a layout I use the drag and drop method, I open up SBM then open my folder with all the stuff I have collect, when I find something that I want to use I left click it, hold it, and drag it into SBM, there it will ask me if I want to use it as an embellishment, paper, etc. select what you want it for and WALAAAA, its there. I find its soooo much easier than to use the heart icon in SBM. You may want to give that a try, if ya need any help, please just ask, we are a friendly and helpful bunch here!
