Me again

I am so thick when it comes to computers - am trying to put a picture on the gallery to get feedback on how my scrapbooking is going. But when i copy my layout from SBM into paint, i cant get rid of the toolbar, i end up copying it all in... am i even making sense at all??!!!

How do i then upload that page (without the copied toolbar) into the gallery.

I think i am confusin myself now, can someone come on over to my house and walk me through it please? HEE HEE

I worked out how to get the images on SBM but everytim ei try and submit, it tells me the image is wrong - wrong format? What does that mean

when you've made your page up in max go into file>publish to> images

set the image size format to web/email size

when you upload these images will be in My Docs > Scrapbook Max > published images > the name you gave them

just upload these images to gallery and you should have no more problems

Sounds like your Paint program has called it something other than a jpg image..You may need to correct that to get it to upload to MAX and make sure it is not too big a file size for Max to take..You will see the limitations list with the upload link. Or otherwise, go back to SBM and do as Fiona...aka..ANGELWITHIN says to do to get it to upload!! GOOD LUCK! LOVE to see it!!

Have managed to get 2 layouts in the gallery and put notice on "look at my layout" but i had trouble copyign the link for them.... do i copy all of the first link or the one underneath it?

Hi there!

I think I understand - you want to put a link to your layout (that is in the gallery) in a post in the the Look at My Layout forum. To do so, follow this instruction:

"Find your layout in the gallery, and click on it. Below your image, you'll see a box labeled UBBCode. Right click on the text and choose "Copy" (or simply write down the image code)."

This is the link that you can then paste in your post in the forum (right click and choose paste, or press Ctrl+V).
