The picture that I saw before was spectacular.

However, the template was blank.

Here's my 4 step process:
1) Before exporting, I right click on my private picture and clear image.
2) On export, click off the box which states 'remove photos', since most of our papers and embellishments are brought in as photos.
3) Click on the 'optimize embellishment' box
4) add my name in the area of the template name - for example, I would have named it 'Patti lots of color'.

Then, since I am paranoid and always unsure if I did all of the above, I open a blank scrapbook and add the new template to make sure it comes out right.

When you export a template, you also get the .jpg screenshot file.

Hope this helps now and in the future.
