I forgot to add that these were all created in Adobe Photoshop 7 using it's brushes and layer styles.

You are right, I have learned over the years that there is a lot of overlapping going on, the shaded or gray areas. (I usually cover that up with hair dye!)

Grannys don't have to be gray. I have 6 grandkids and one on the way and I refuse to give up!!!

Before the cancer, I regularly dyed my hair...errrr.....kept it the same color it had always been, despite what nature was trying to do to me. Then it all fell out, and when it started to grow back in, it wasn't gray streaked but WHITE. Ow! Since I had a 6-inch incision on my head, I wasn't allowed to dye it, and decided to just accept the fact that I'd never have dark hair again (except those oddball things that keep sprouting from my chin).

I'm okay with it most of the time, but when my son came home on leave from Afghanistan, we hadn't seen each other for a year. His first words to me weren't anything like, "I love you, Mom," or "I've missed you, Mom." They were "Wow! You're so gray!" Fine thing for a son to say to his Mama!!! And after 33 hours of labor with him!!! When he gets to come home for good, I may just have to re-introduce myself to Lady Clairol.
