    Grandparents of the Bride

On January 6th OUr eldest granddaughter got married... I jts scrapped a few photo's of my sweetie pie husband and me to start with- I want to wait for the professional photographers photo's of the actual wedding before I scrapbook them - I simply cannot believe we have a married granddaughter - I mean it was definately only yesterday that we got married ourselves wasn't it??? where do the years go?

Karin, I do truly feel like that! Of course we have had rough times but few and far between and with God's counsel and direction we get through anything and finish up closer than before - this man is my soul mate.. I never take for granted the happiness we have together - I often call Ian my "biggest Blessing" He is an amazing person.

Thankyou Rosana Brito, as usual your comments are lovely - you are very cute with your english! And you are right - it is God who "conserves this happiness" - we both Have a deep love for God and his word the Bible and always try our hardest to apply his direction in all aspects of our relationship - and it works, there just IS no problem that cannot be overcome with God's wisdom and help.
" ..........a three fold cord cannot be quickly torn in two" -Ecclesiastes 4:12 Our God is the third thread woven into the cord that binds us together.
Our daughter and son in Law and now our granddaughter and her new husband all share the same faith and just as it has strenghthened our marriage and Our daughter and Son in laws ( 23 years) I know if the "kid's" apply what the Bible says in their marriage they WILL be happy too, of that I have no doubt!
