How do you....
change the extension from SMB file to ZIP.....?
I understand that this can be done.
And I bet it is quite simple to do
but alas...........I dont know how
help.
I think I saw an explanation on this somewere on this forum but cant remember were.

Right click on the file and "save as". After the file name, add .zip and save. It should convert to a regular zipfile.

If the file is already downloaded to your hard-drive, you'll need to rename it.
Eg. if you have a file called pack1.smb, right click it and choose 'Rename'. Then name it pack1.smb.zip.
If you just see 'pack1', with no .smb at the end, your computer is set to hide file extensions of known types. This can be changed, but do so at your own risk:
In windows explorer, choose Tools > Folder Options, and click on the View tab. There should be an option called 'Hide extensions of known file types'. Uncheck that option and choose OK.
To once again hide extensions, reverse the steps above.
