Unhappy Yellow Wiggle may retire..hot goss from Oz!

For all those with young kids...how sad is this. Greg, the "Yellow Wiggle" and one of the founders of the Wiggle Empire is apparently set to announce tomorrow (Australian time) he will no longer be performing. For those that don't know he has been unwell for an extremely long time and has been fainting for a reason doctors have been unable to determine why. He has basically a "mystery illness".
My son (now 12 years) grew up with the wiggles and it will be devastating for the young kids of today not to know the joy of seeing the wiggles perform. There is talk of replacing him....but it will be immensely big shoes to fill. Guess we will find out tomorrow with the radio reports are true or not...I sincerely hope not!!!!

Wiggles is a kids group...bunch of 4 guys dressed in different skivvies!!! Huge here, America and Asia. Shame you never had the fortune of seeing them or hearing them...kids just adore them..more kids aged 2 - 7
Big part of Aussie culture..You are right though..parents need to think how they tell kids, will mean a lot to them.
Heres hoping I am wrong and was just a horrible rumour...

    Default Sad News!

My kids also have grown up with the Wiggles - we had their VHS tapes well before they hit the Disney Channel! Love the Wiggles Christmas...I watch them as much as the kids! And if you do all of their dances, it actually can be considered a "workout" tape!! Ha Ha.

I don't know HOW they would replace Greg...BIG shoes to fill for sure. Keep us posted!
