i am broken hearted...is there any way of retreiving my beautiful recipe book from an emptied recycle bin...i have read there are wonderful techies in the sbm community and any help would be so appreciated...i havent got the heart to start all over again...and xmas is less than a month away...

The only suggestion is to check and see if you can use the Windows Restore function to a prior restore point before you emptied the Recycle Bin.

Most computers do have the restore functions, Do you have windows xp?? I too had to restore to another date and it does work! I got all my stuff back, I restored about a month back, I have window Xp and maybe i can walk you thru it!

Hello,

System Restore *may* work for you -- though there are no guarentees.

BUT, if you've deleted your scrapbook pages (they are stored in My Documents\Scrapbook MAX!\Projects), and they aren't in the recycle bin, there aren't really other options (short of using professional data-recovery software/services, both are $$$ if i remember correctly, and also don't offer any guarentees).
