Aw gee thanks all! Granny, even though you didn't know I was gone, I will make sure to stock the duck tape! Oh and Granny, I finally got to taste a Mojita (How ever it is spelled). The night before we left to come back, we were visiting my my Aunt and Cousins in Maryland. We went to a restaraunt by the Chesapeak. My Cousins Husband drinks them, so I got to taste it. Not bad!

A little accident happened while we were there. A family at the table across from us had a little girl about 3 years old. Apparently they were talking and didn't notice her wandering. She wandered down to the dock and some how fell in the water. We didn't see her fall. All of a sudden everyone was heading toward the dock. A customer at a table next to the water where she fell jumped out of his seat and into the water after her. He grabbed her and held her up out of the water while some one grabbed her and pulled her out. She started crying right away, so we knew she was ok. But that was scary.

Her Mother had gone down to get her and carried her back to the table across from us. After a couple of minutes the little girl half crying said "I wanna take a bath". Everyone laughed. What happened wasn't funny, but everyone was just relieved that she was ok. She was so lucky that guy was quick at jumping in the water. The dock was high out of the water and the water was deep.

Never had that happen at a dinner before!

Cropsie, you snuck in on me before I hit button. We weren't all that far from you, but not close enough, and I didn't have my info with me to call you. We stayed near the Pennsylvania/Maryland border not far from Delaware for 2 nights. When We left, we came up into Pennsylvania but it wasn't close enough to you. We took side roads to the pike (76) then headed back to Ohio.

Hello all. I am new here and in another post several people told me I should come over here and join in. However, I was warned not to try and read the entire thread and now I see why! Y'all have racked up quite a few (okay, a whole bunch) of pages here. So.....if anyone can give me a quick overview of what goes on here, I'd appreciate it. I love this place already and look forward to becoming part of this family and getting to know everyone.

Soooo close yet Soooo far! LOL The border is about a 2 hour drive from me. It takes about 4 hours to get to Maryland from here, but well worth the trip, the beaches are sooo much cleaner in Maryland then at the Jersey shore, which the closest one is 1 hour away.(Sandy Hook) The farther south the longer. DUHHHHH. LOL
WOW what a story at dinner!! CRICKEY that girl is VERY LUCKY!!! So glad there was a happy ending for her!
Hey did ya have any crabs there!! Blue crabs are famous there, we would go to the chesapeke bay and put traps in the water, go back in the evening and there would be tons of them in the traps. Hubby would cook them and then pick all the meat out, and get this.... He DOESNT like seafood!! LOL

Granny wants the duck tape to shut everyone up around here! LOL Its not gonna work though! LOL

Quick overview for ya..My name is wolvsie and everyone thinks I am a talker, a drunk, possibly a jitterbug with the guys in here and an abuser to my children... Pkdoll, will charge you fees to be in this community, Crops likes to start fires, nanwu runs our B&B, Granny has problems with apes and authority (plus she is allergic to chocolate and we are awaiting the story), Steve is the tech guy around here (and I'm supposedly having an affair with him and a thing with the terminex guy), there are new babies being born, kids to find, houses to fix and in between all this, find time to get some scrapping in...
Don't take any of us seriously, its all fun in games around here..Come in to vent, brag, cry, laugh or pick on someone...Just watch out for Granny...<wink>
Welcome aboard... P.S. you need to find a buddy as well, we have a system in here...and if you don't find one, someone will hunt you down and pick one or you...hehehehehe

Hey, well this is my last night back on for a while. So here's hoping you all keep sane. I will hopefully be back soon. Can someone check on my condo from time to time, there are a few special surprises in the fridge at the b&b, so I hope you all enjoy them!! A few prayers this way would be good also. Welcome to Scrapsville Amy..all thats required to be a citizen here is to be a little on the nutty side...it really doesnt make any difference what you say...whats going on is what pops into someones mind at any given time..LOL.right now the biggest thing going on is wolvsies mouth..(hehehe)Scrapsville is squeeky clean and we dont have anything like affairs going on here...just ask Steve!!! I am sure Granny will tell you what you have to do to get your citizenship papers and your certificate to post..Be thinking of what kind of business you want to open..just anything will do...Knzus has a plant shop that only sells dead flowers.. Terry...one of our citizens has a farm on the outskirts of town..he raises garlic to keep away the vampire supposedly somewhere in town..and he also ran an obedience school for the apes..which sometimes run amuck in town causing all kinds of mischief..We have been keeping the place up so you could move in and take over the farm and apes if you would like to do that...since Terry had to leave us for a long extended time..ok Im sure someone else will join in and tell you more...but one thing I can tell you for sure..people here are great, if your down and out just come here and you will soon feel better..if you just want some normal chat..this is the place for that too...if you need to vent or talk over a problem..we are here for you...and we do welcome you and hope to see a LOT Of YOU..

Thanks y'all for the information on this post. I think I'm starting to get the idea and the craziness of it all makes me crack up.

I will work on what business I'm going to open and will also await my citizenship papers from Granny but until then, I will just be a resident alien of scrapsville. Oh, and Granny we are still waiting on your chocolate story!
