FINALLY GOT THEM DONE....FINALLY GOT THEM DONE!!!
I had fun with this, even though we had to use stuff that I do not love. I did however interpret cartoony stuff as drawn stuff as oppose to extracted - the "non real" cartoon stuff.
So...my first layout is with Carena Scott's kit Family Holidays.
    Four liked items:
    cluster (frames with ribbons)
word art (made by myself with items from the kit)
    background splattered think splotchy
vines with flowers (used several times)
    Four unliked items:
jewels in the bottom (looks good but would have preferred to use a flower)
journaling (the page looked so much better without it)
But all in all even with those two items, I love it. the rest of the stuff is all on the background paper from her kit as well

for my cartoony, I used Sandrine's Hello February kit. It might not classify as cartoony for most people, but when I think of cartoony I think of non-real looking things. I did love doing this layout though - it fit nicely with the picture - it was actually a toss up between this one and Children's hour, and although the colours in children's hour fit better, the cartoony embies in this kit fit better
Somewhere in all the madness lies the beauty within
