Kaye - you are well on your way to a fabulous album. Are you going to have it printed into a hardcover book???
If so - you might like to consider trying your hand at double pages. That's my next challenge for you to try out. You can still do it as 2 separate pages but use the same paper and embellishments on both pages with a similar theme, photo's, people so the 2 pages are linked and belong opened together and viewed together. It really makes for a stunning book to have the pages opened similar - it's very pleasing to the eye. The background paper is best flipped horizontally so the edges of both papers will meet and match. Again, more pleasing visually to the eye.
Anyway - just a suggestion. Run with it or not - but if you do - will be excited to see the results.Kind wishes from Carena

Challenge accepted and will be completed!
I might try it with one of my dads passports, visas etc from his journey from Holland to Australia way back in about 1953 I think it could have been, I don't much like doing men pages, flowers for women and kids etc is so much more to my taste.
Thanks for the suggestions and compliments.
Yes it will be a hardcover book, I'm looking at about 50 or so pages and I will probably make it a 12x12, it will be a while before it's completed though.

The double page looks great. Sometimes you need something more plain, especially for the men. LOL. I always find masculine pages hard as I love flowers so much. Really I need to challenge myself to make a masculine kit.Kind wishes from Carena

Thanks Carena, yes masculine is hard, I don't like making them flowery and I am sure dad would say secretly to himself "what is she doing making a page about me all flowery!"
Masculine kits COULD be leafy....with added odds and ends of stuff, maybe your next challenge should be to make us make some masculine pages lol give us all one photo and then explore our masculine side :-O

Kaye - Just what Deanne said. Excellent! Wonderful job and I love the colors used. Also the tone of the photo works beautifully. It works in so many ways and in so many levels. It's pleasing to the eye. Nothing screams that it doesn't belong. Awesome.Kind wishes from Carena
