So sad... Doesn't it make you ling for the time when there will be no more war as our Creator has promised in the Bible. War is so horrific and so many innocent victims. what a terrible time they went through. Thanks for sharing these stories kaye.

This is my older sister and my mum taken in 1961

1951 Elsie and Percy, that is my grandparents on my mums side
1931 that is my Oma and Opa (grandparents) on my Dads side
and 1957 my mum (3rd on left) and my Aunty (1st on left)

This is of my grandparents on my Mums side, they used to go to Beachport in South Australia for holidays. This was taken in 1950

This is my mum and my cousin Nigel taken in 1958



This is my Dad's grandparents and his mum and her brothers and sisters taken in a popular beach in Holland where they used to visit quite reguarly for holidays. Its pronounced ske va ningen, and spit and gurgle a bit as you pronounce the ske lol
