How do i use a photoshop template in SBM?

Im just starting out in scrapbooking and bought these page templates where i can "fill in the blanks" so to speak but the tutorial talked about how to do it on adobe photoshop elements, a program that i dont have and dont want...is there anyway i could accomplish this in SBM? heres the link of the tutorial for adobe photoshop to give you a better idea of what i want to accomplish on SBM...Thank you.

Photoshop templates are normally in PSD or TIF format and not usable in Scrapbook Max Software. If you have the PNG files they can be converted to shapes in scrapbook max but it's a little complicated as they need to be made into black and white and saved as shapes for each PNG file.
