    Scrappin' Challenge 51

This past week was hard for me to here with Dialysis and all, but I think I am getting used to it already...lol...Not really liking it too much...<wink> but nevertheless, I'm here and will continue to do my challenges...Nothing is bringing me down...lol...

Since I was busy, I didn't have a whole lot of time to prepare for this week's challenge, so we are going to do something fairly simple....You get to play around with your colors...Whoo-hoo!!

No mini for this one, only because I have an awesome participation prize for you....

Here is what I want you to do....
*Choose a color...and make your entire layout that color and shades of that color....
(For example...lets say I choose red...My layout should be all different shades or red...ie, dark red, pinks, etc....)
*You may add white and black....ONLY...no other colors then shades of the one color you are choosing to use....
*Your photo(s) must be in black and white.
*Please make sure whatever you use and recolor are items from this community and credits are given the best you can...
*Upload your layout to the Designers section of our gallery, and then post it here...

At the end of the challenge you will receive a neat surprise and a new Flair Button...Can't wait to see what your color picks are...
I am a Designer 4 ScrapbookMax! Check out my STORE...Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,

At least I am not tardy for this challenge. I forgot you do these challenges by the week. Here is my layout. Since Father's Day is almost here I thought I would create a layout of my husband and daughter. His favorite color is blue.

It`s all about pink these days at our house, so that was a natural pick for me. Here`s my hubby and baby girl. I used a freebie kit from Five Feathers, called Sisters.

tried to upload my layout to the designer layout gallery to post here, but it is telling me that the file is too large....any ideas ladies. Not sure how to make it smaller or get it up here now. It is a beautiful layout.

Started with Fiona's Sunflower Memories kit and then flipped all over with the many things that I have received from her through out the years, redesigned, recolored and just had fun with shapes and brushes in PSE also.

So glad I finally figured this out....thanks karin for your help!
My layout was done with Deanne Gow smith / Moonbeam's brothers love kit. Gorgeous stuff. Did very little recolouring as everything is already in shades of orange. This is probably one of my favorite pages, and I also need to mention that it is a tribute to a dear friend that passed away 2 years ago from pancreatic cancer.
