I played around with these for fun. This is the first time I have made a "cluster" apart from a page. I added the blue diamonds freebie I found on the freebies forum. This was definitely a fun challenge.

If someone clicks on my clusters, they would not be clear but have a white background - how do you get the clusters to have a clear background?

As I tend to do - go back and re work things... here's my cluster. I actually went and downloaded Photoshop Elements 9 last night and using the trial version (good for 30 days) to see if I use it enough... anyway here's the cluster!

Seeing all these cluster ideas has me trying to recreate some of them. This design forum really brings out the creativity!
For anyone who wants to give designing a try and doesn't have Photoshop or a similar program, give PAINTNET a try. It is a free programs.

I saved as .png from photoshop ... that should work for you as well?

These are very lovely; however, they need to be saved as a .png file for the transparency.
