Default Need help moving one of my layouts from my photos to one of my albums

I was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on how to move one of my layouts in my Scrapbook Max account to one of my albums? It is a heritage layout I did for the Groove January challenge. I would like to move it to My Family Heritage album so I can keep them all in one place.

    Thank You,

    Diane

    Hi Diane!

Can you explain a bit more - are you looking to move a page into (or within) Scrapbook MAX! software? Or are you looking to move something from one place in the online gallery to another?

    Thanks!
    Karin

    Hi Karin,

Sorry about that! I am trying to move it from my personal online gallery. I uploaded it into the Groove challenge through My Photos and now I would like to move it to My Albums. I hope this helps. I was not sure how to explain it.

    Thank You,
    Diane

Hope that you get an answer to this, I questioned it once before and didn't get a solution as the layout stayed in the open gallery and I wanted it to be just in my album. The key word was MOVE, not just place it in 2 places.

go to the page with the layout that you want to move. on the right near the top (just under "upload photo" link) is a link that says "Photo Options" click the little arrow beside it. A menu will drop down and the last option is "Edit photo". If you click that it will take you to a page that looks like the photo upload page and you can change what album it is in.
    Hopefully this makes sense.

Glad that it worked out, Diane - and just so you know, the Edit Photo feature that Tanni mentioned will let you either Copy or Change (i.e. Move) the location of your image.

    Thanks everyone!

    Happy Scrapping!

    Thank You Karin!

Is the Scrapbook Max blinkie you have on your signature available to everyone? If it is, where can I get it? I love it!!

I've changed the location of the photos and did this on many before the last upgrade. Before when you moved it, and you opened the option - My photos, the layout would not also be in the open area. Now, it appears to be in both places. I would like it to be only available if myself or someone else opens the album. Right now, it's an impossible task to try and move layouts as I have to open every one up individually to see if it is already in an album or it can be newly moved.

I'd like to help, but I'm not sure that I understand what is happening when you try to move an image.

I am able to change the category of a photo by:

    - Clicking on the photo
    - Selecting "Edit Photos"
    - Selecting "Change Category?" and then selecting one of the albums in my member gallery
    - I then select "Submit Changes"
    - The photo is then moved from its original category into my album (its no longer in its original category.

Are you trying the above and it isn't working like this? Are you getting any error messages?

I would like it to be only available if myself or someone else opens the album
Also, could you be referring to making albums private? If so, you can do this when you first create an album by selecting "yes" to "Is Album Private" in the first step. Or, you can make a "public" album private by clicking on My Albums - go to the album you want to make private. Under the Actions column on the right hand side of the page, choose Edit beside that album - you can then edit the public/private status of the album.

I hope that helps - if you are doing these things and it isn't working, please let me know the steps you're taking and I'll see if I can help!
