The Groove December 2010 Freebie Challenge

Welcome to The Groove's Monthly Freebie Challenge!

Hello from The Groove, Scrapbook MAX!'s *free* monthly newsletter!

Each month, a featured designer offers a great freebie mini-kit and issues a challenge based on that kit.

All you need to do is download the freebie to make your challenge pages. Then, create a layout (or layouts) that steps up to the challenge, upload it to the Groove Newsletter Challenges gallery and post a link to your layout in a reply to this thread.

This month, designer Diana Carmichael has shared a delightful Christmas-themed mini-kit (Note: it's available below as a .zip file, so you'll need to save it to the place you keep your scrapbooking goodies, and then extract the images to use them in Scrapbook MAX!).

Diana's Challenge:

Using at least three (3) items - or all of them - from the freebie kit, make a page with a snowy, frosty winter theme!

Hey everyone! Just downloaded the freebie onto my desktop, but don't know how to import it into my scrapbook max program. How do I do that? Can anyone give me some help?

Rhonda, since it is a zip file, you will need to extract the items manually. Make a folder anywhere on your pc you want... most people do that in "My Documents." Name the folder whatever you want... in this case it could be something like "The Groove Dec2010." Move your zip file INTO that folder, then RIGHT-CLICK on the zip file and choose "Extract here..." (or whatever it says for extracting into that folder)... and the freebies will extract there for you to use.
