Hi y'all!

I LOVE this challenge, what fun!

Here is my entry. It is my first time using clear elements and I just love them!

I had to use:

a stamped image
20 or more brads
clear elements

I think maybe I was supposed to use more than one stamped image, so I shall need to do another layout. That's cool.

The background is from Wolvsie's marvellous Summer kit.

YOU ALL have done wonderful layouts so far...Linda, YOU GO GF!!! You never stop amazing me with all your layouts...Where do you find the time? <wink> I have been pretty sick on and off, otherwise I would have been in here more frequently...Sorry about that...Here I am hosting a challenge, but the host is never around...LOL...
Pixy, sometimes you have to think outside the box....using a B & W photo as an overlay, isn't really a photo anymore, it's a piece of paper...<wink> this is why it's a challenge...Right? lol...I know you will come up with something...I am glad to see your flairs...

Yeah Pixy!!!! Your Buttons Look Great!!! I had to Dump a Blinkie, to get "Da Blues" ........ Do your LO with a B & W, or Make the Whole thing B & W......LOL either way you will be in the right way.......lol

I have talked with Desmond....As a trial run, he bumped up the image amount to 8...instead of 4....If the pages don't load slow due to the increase...the new total will stay....Cool huh? I think maybe someone needs to start a new thread in NSBR, and thank the SBM team for allowing this...I thought this was just awesome of them....So add them all back in girls....<wink>

I tried to add my third Flair, but I still get the same error message that my Signature cannot be more than 500 characters long. I still had to delete my other Blinkies to get it down under size, but I'm Flairing now..

I used my stamped images to create a collage background.

The brads that I used are from Butterfly kisses.

The clear embellishments are my own.

ahhh, I almost forgot!! I've been so busy. I just popped in during my lunch hr at work - I will have to get moving on this. I have to fly out on business tomorrow, but Friday I'll get one done - don't close the challenge without me!!! ha ha
What the heck is stamped image and a clear element - oh boy.. this one will be a challenge for sure for me!!

Yes I had to think about that one, so I hit that well known authority, Google.

From what I can gather:

Stamped images are just like we make with rubber or acrylic stamps. Only now they've become digitalised. I kept mine black and white, but of course you could recolour them.

Clear elements, I think, are like the acrylic pages that some people are scrapping onto, but now they come in shapes for embellishments too.

If I'm wrong, then perhaps someone else can enlighten both of us.

I have talked with Desmond again, and he up'd the character limit now too 1,000....So you should be able to place more of your flairs in your signature...Try it and let me know....thanks...

Linda and Ksd.... Stamped images are exactly like you said...but digitalized... As far as clear embellishments are...I think of anything clear, like glass, glue, acrylic, basically anything you can see through...Hope this makes sense...

If you want to try something new... then pick 4 new numbers and make a layout...<wink> lol...
