    Default Grandparent Names

I'm curious to know what are some of the names your grandchildren call you or you called your grandparents? Especially outside the States...

    I'll start it off...

    Grandfather - "Ga"
    Grandmother - "Grammy"

I called my grandparents from England "Nana" and "Papa" - I don't know if that's very English or not!

Great idea Steve to know little more how we call our granparents.

My granparents from peru, grandmom was called graciela and we called her abuela chela and my grandfather was alberto but we called him abuelo chelo, (chela for grandmom and chelo because was shortly and cute for us) and i remember that my cousins called their grandmom, mamama.

Here my daugthers called their grandparents, nonna Gio and nonno vito, almost with their names, and also the same with the grandparents in peru
My husband and i called her grandmom Nonnina

My heritage is Dutch so we are called Oma and Opa by our 6 grandchildren. (And all the kids in the neighborhood!!!)
Which is what I called my grandparents as well.
My grandson Dylan once introduced me to his teacher as his "Grandma called Oma"

The kids call the wife's mom "Grammy" and my grand-daughters are the ones that gave me the moniker "Poppa Bob".

The Grandkids call me Nanna or Nanna Karyn, my Hubby was Pa.
My parents are called Nanny & Pop (or Poppy).

My Grandaughter Skye has Dutch also, so her grandparents from her Dad's side are called Oma & Opa.
