Will try to pop in later with something, haven't deserted you but one of my son's is ill and we've been spending a lot of time with him.

Height restriction mean no Go-Karting for M
The text reads: We thought it would be fun to take our boys & 2 of their cousins go-karting. Except for Fatima, it would've their first time go-karting, so everyone was bursting with excitement!
However, when we got to the ticket office, we learnt Mobushir didn't meet the height restriction. . .
My heart went out to him as I saw him valiantly yet unsuccessfully try to hold back tears. His disappointment was palpable, but even so, he tried to smile for the camera.

Daydreamer, I can relate to this story very well. Last summer at the Company picnic my daughter, granddaughter, and her best friend and mother and I waited in line for over an hour to ride on this one particular ride. The girls were so excited. They are best friends, the same age, the same size, etc. We finally got up to the head of the line and they measured my granddaughter first. She was very close, right at the line, but they said she was too short. They then measured her best friend, and she barley made height at the top of the line. The difference was Arika had flip-flips on and her friend had tennis shoes on and I could tell she was doing a little tippy toe action since Arika was refused. They refused to let Arika ride. I sat out with her. It broke her heart. She wasn't as brave as Mobushir. She cried and cried and it ruined the rest of the day for her. It broke her spirit.Last edited by lindaathome; 04-22-2010, 03:56 PM.I am a proud Member of the Following Creative Teams
