    Default In loving memory of Nadhir Arnold

    In 2003 I was very involved in a Bone Marrow Transplant. . . Nadhir, my friend's son, had been diagnosed with Adrenoleucodystrapy (ALD - like in the movie, Lorenzo's Oil), so we did all we could to increase the bone marrow registry and find him a donor. Unfortunately we didn't find a match locally or internationally, and after he had a haploidentical transplant from his father, he caught a infection and succumbed to it.

    Nadhir's life and death were an inspiration to all, teaching us the true value of life, love and all things precious...He did soo much to raising awareness around becoming a donor and registering on the bone marrow registery.

    I dearly love and miss you still, my loving, trusting, vibrant little fighter and will never foget our last precious hug!!!
