Can't make a new album!

I hadn't had any issues with the new forum until just now. I tried to add an album and it said to check permissions. Any thoughts?

I got this error the other day and found that I was logged out, so had to log back in. then it went fine.

I saw that but I am logged in but actually, when I looked later, the album was there even though it said it coudn't be made. New issue. Tried to upload jpg made in SBM 2.0 and was told it did not support that file type! Anyone else have that kind of issue?
